Yukon Sierra GL-5 is an extra high performance, automotive lubricant formulated from select base oils and an advanced additive system specifically. This lubricant is engineered for performance in heavy-duty differentials, axles, and final drives where extreme pressures and shock loading are expected providing API GL-5 level performance. It provides exceptional chemical and thermal stability at elevated bulk oil temperatures.

Applications

• Passenger cars, on-highway passenger light and heavy duty trucks, busses and vans
• Off-highway industries including: construction, quarrying, and agriculture
• Other industrial and automotive applications involving hypoid and other gears operating under conditions where high speed/shock load, high speed/low torque, and/or low speed/high torque conditions prevail
• Intended for initial fill, topping-off, and refill of enclosed automotive type gearing where the GL-5 SAE 80W-90 gear lubricants are recommended
• Do not use in transmissions or transaxles for which engine oil or automatic transmission fluids are recommended
